Welcome, I'm a VW GTI (337 Anniversary Edition) guy, and agree, yes, they have their quality issues but fortunately nothing of a "gremlin" nature where VW doesn't know how to correct

What do you think holds VW back? German engineering is a good place to start, so what happens from there?

What's the temperature there now? How far from the beach are you?
