Oh k, so I finally got a set of wheels for my whip and I'm very happy with the results...
The aftermarket wheels that I was looking at were ridiculously priced(R6800, which roughly $680 with tyres), so I had got to a point where it was decided that I was gonna refurbish the current set rims and go from there....
3days before I send the rims in for refurb, I came across a deal on the EK VTEC wheel - 4wheels(good cond.) & 4tyres(new Yokohama S-drives) at a price of R3800, so I could not pass this up. Bought the wheels last week and got it all fitted etc this weekend. Feels like a completely different car to drive now.

Thanks alot man! Been wanting these rims almost since I bought the car and I'm stoked about the results. Still getting used to the different feel, cos the previous wheels had a much bigger offset so it almost feels like I'm learning a new car.modthesol;179798 wrote:nice!

Sup everybody! Damn it's been a long time since I've been online now:whistle:
Been rather busy on my whip and really getting tons of enjoyment outta her - even tho the build aint complete yet - lol
So here's a bit of an update & some plans for the road ahead...
UPDATE:
Old motor & tranny out...

Let the build begin...

Ready to go...

Work Done:

Eagle "ESP" forged H-Beam rods
ACL race series bearings
B16 Oil pump
B16 Water pump
GSR cam belt
ARP head studs
Competition Clutch Stage 2 kit
Streetlite Flywheel
Additional Mods:
Custom 4-2-1 header (45mm-50mm-57mm)
Koni Yellow Sport Adjustable Dampers
Sleeve Overs (10kg front & 8kg rear)
Filled engine mounts (windscreen silicone - it works)
Y21 hydro tranny (swap for LS tranny)
P28 ECU (programmable)
Mods still to come(finances):
B16 cylinder head
Valvetrain (depends on cams)
Stage 2 cams (still deciding)
Skunk2 Pro intake
Adjustable cam gears
68mm T/B
375cc injectors
Fuel rail
Fuel pump
FPR
Thermal intake gasket
Well that's where I am currently & hopefully the next stage will be able to happen SOON!!!
