Car I got from Steve.

The B16a Swap I bought origionally:

The car pretty much sits the exact same way I got it.. I just started buying stuff.
Like a B18a block, bored .50 over, King Bearings, ARP Rod Bolts, Head Studs and Main Studs, and a Golden Eagle LS/VTEC conversion kit

A GSR Head, set up for the ls/vtec, with newly installed S2 Stg 2. Tuner Cams, Dual Valve Springs, Valves, Titanium Retainers, and their Cam Gears (not installed) I also installed new valve guides, and valve guide seals after a lot of research.. torch ftw.
Also, I have a bunch of parts I dont have pictured, like my S2 2.5" Header Back, Edelbrock Pro Flo Header, Innovative Racing mounts, Integra axles, Fidanza flywheel, S2 dual bend, shift knob, 290cc injectors and again, probably more shit I cant think of.
Before: Notice how the valves are different??? WTF?

Disassembly:

A few done:

Using my sweet new valve spring compressor... this is the coolest tool I own.

Done with the valves n junk:

Re-assembly:

Laid my sweet new cams in:

Set this crappy vc on it, to keep dirt n shit out of it until I get my block done.

As of now, my plans are to get this motor in the rex before March. I want it to be a fun car for the twisties, and just to have fun tweaking on. I still need a lot of parts, a clutch, new pistons/rings, timing belt, Port Matched IM and TB (already have, just gotta pay for) Dizzy, and im sure a bunch of other crap i cant think of. After I get the motor set up, itll probably be getting tuned by John up at Lowe. After that, I want the S2 Pro C set up, some brakes, and a bunch of other shit. Then, to bodywork.

NEW 7/10 -
Well as we all can see, I definately didnt get this thing anywhere near done by March, work schedules, and other bs prevented that shit from happening, so lets see if I can pick up where i left off. First off, the motor didnt go into the CRX Si I had, like I had planned, it ended up going into my HF. But taking a few steps back... Got the right pistons and shit for my block, and started to assemble it.. A few weeks went by, and I decided I didnt have the time to drive all the way to Nik's garage to work on it, so I took it down to Dale, who finished assembly for me. I dont have any pics from that... soo moving on. I wanted to get this motor in the car bad, but like before, no time, so I took it down to my buddy Mike's house, who did the swap for me, and im extremely happy with the result. Some pictarz:

After that, I had to wait for gay parts to get in, my s2 tb, dsm 450's, ngk plugs and wires, slim fan, test pipe and a new shift linkage since the one I bought with the swap a while back was WASTED. Then its where it sits today:

Almost completed. Just needs a few more little bits and pieces before I can start it later. After that, I plan on taking it down to RyanA for dyno tuning, then to the streets! Hope all goes well. A big big thanks goes out to everyone involved, whether it be the work, or answering my stupid questions, hah.
