YEah, i painted it myself with diamont paint. No sense in paying thousands of dollars when i can do what you see with $400.00.
Hell, i even assembled the motor myself and luckily fired up right after i primed the fuel system. I had good luck i suppose. ... As far as the suspension goes: Wicked Tuning F/R camber kit, 2" springs, KYB gr2 struts, Megan Racing (EBAY) lower rear control arms, Energy Suspension Bushings, F/R Upper and Lower strut bars, "H" brace... and i think thats about it. . .
It took some time, but overall turned out pretty decent. the front is sitting at a pretty desirable ride height, but the rear is about 2" off the tire for some reason, Im thinkin that the bushings and everything might just need to settle a little, but ive driven it about 5 miles and still no sign of a " 2 inch " drop. If nothin else, i'll end up ordering new springs or (budget depending) heat up the ones i have to get me by until i can get a good set of springs with a suitable drop.
ANywho, I'll be down at midnight madness at the end of the month, maybe i'll run into some of ya.

Honest Opinion...
Not sure if im 2 fond of the hood... i bought it but I dont know how i like it on the car. I got a carbon Duckbill wing so im gonna eventually pick up a carbon hood... just made do with what i had.... i two toned it obviously b/c of the black roof. Let me know Yay or Nay. It's not gonna hurt my feelings :0( thanks

Word... Half the stuff on the car is on there because i just had it laying around from the previous build. I'm eventually going to get the JDM black housing headlights with amber corners and a carbon fiber hood. I dunno, ive already wrapped up enough money in this damn thing for the time being.... it's gettin HID's and a T-25 before i do anything else to the body. Im Autobody'd Out right now.Pony_Fed95;68097 wrote:nice paint, not really diggin the hood or headlights, but to each his own.

Please do not heat up the springs. Thats VERY UNSAFE! I'm not really a fan of that hood but I think your going the right dircetion by wanting another one. And FYI, JDM headlights don't have black housings. These are JDM hedlights...
