relocated the battery with a stolle made battery tray, still have to make a hold down

...

its made from 16awg steel, formed it with a hammer a block of steel and a vise, cut it with a 4 inch angle grinder.

oh snap!!!

installed a different intercooler, its from a saab its actually pretty nice 2" inlet/outlet and its bar and plate. it fits a lot better than the probe intercooler i had before, the charge piping is a lot better too. still have to make a bracket for the radiator...

thanks to boner for the intercooler, various fittings and the inspiration to get it done. thank you rick for coming over, hanging out and making fun of me

well according to ndra rules it would have to be on the rear of the car. im hoping the officials at gateway wont give me trouble about it, i dont care to race in any sanctioned ndra events so, i hope it wont be a problem for tuesdays.

they shouldn't unless your car stands out they probley wont even care iknow they usally dont when i go

that is true.. i didnt think about it that way. its not like your running nitrous and roll cage and doin 8's they prolly wont even care

slow compared to 8 second cars yes, and it seems they only care about the cars that go faster then 10's

Really enjoy seeing a home made/junkyard pieced together turbo kit. (please take no offense to the description, just didn't know what to call it) Battery tray looks great any more detail or specs on the motor and car.
