The '90 Civic EX Project

I just thought I'd post some pictures of the new project. I picked it up from Corey (90CivicEX) last week. It had a blown head gasket so I decided to just replace the gasket and get the car going again. So far I've torn apart the front suspension, replaced a few things, and lubed all the bolts/nuts. I've also been tearing apart the head, cleaning it up a little, started on a wire tuck, and replaced a few misc. things around the car. As far as the head gasket goes, I got a Y8 gasket and pulled the middle layer out so I should be making about 9.56:1 compression compared to the factory 9.11:1. I've also picked up an AEM short ram air intake, a BMC throttle body spacer, a Z6 throttle body and intake manifold, an Edelbrock 4-2-1 header, Magnaflow high flow cat and a custom 2.25in. exhaust. My goal is to get it going sometime this week. I need to finish clean and assembling the head, install the intake manifold, put the head back on, finish the wire tuck, install the exhaust, replace rear suspension parts, and clean the car up. I have your LCA in my hatch... I guess we missed it when we were taking your parts out yesterday.

that throttle body was off a b18c. you going to use it?

They're supposed to be 88-89 CRX Si wheels, but they may be off of a DA.

I probably won't use it right away, I'd rather get the car running first, then I'll port the intake manifold and use it.

They came off my 91 Integra.
