Thank you all for the nice comments. The paint is a little rough, there are quite a few scratches on it, but that is what happens to an original paint job that is near 15 years old and has not been in a garage for its whole existence. I worked very hard on the car and it looks 100x's better than what it had. With paint that is in ok or good shape, I can normally make it look brand new, but our main focus in this car was just all of the oxidized spots covering the roof, hood and fenders. Which, now you can not see... oh and that foot tall patch of white paint... first time you guys have seen pictures of that side of his car in a LONG time. I am not saying that there are no swirls in the paint, but they have been drastically reduced, and you can't really say much about a car having swirls in it without seeing it in direct sunlight, a picture at night can play too many tricks to know what is really there. The car still needs some lovin, but it is looking a lot better!

+1 I am very happy with your work. I know it needs paint but first is the rust then paint. But well see how everything works out.

get the rust taken care of for now, don't worry about painting it right away. It looks way better than it did, and once the rust is fixed it will look fine. It is a daily driver that you are building for performance. The paint job dosn't matter in the grand scheme of things right now...

the oxidized spots were very rough, it was almost white over the whole roof. It took me about three hours on the roof, hood and fenders. It is difficut, but by no means impossible. send me a pm, we can talk about it...
