I was wondering the same thing, also what is the purpose of it? To cool the engine down by 2 degrees? I dont see how it really helps a 16 second car honestly.

hood has nylon spacers to cool the engine bay, and again to people like you it might not make a difference by much, but i'm going with the idea that if it doesn't hurt, it helps

No offense but man but wow your ideas on your are odd but its your car so do what you want. But do you really belive that all of this "if it doesnt hurt it helps" concept? I mean are you really worried about the lugs weight? I mean I like them bc of the color. But the hood makes your car looked wrecked. But GL with your car man and I hope to see you at some of the events so I can see this in person.

the idea behind raising the back of the hood is so that it allows the air to pass through the engine bay and out the back of the hood. that way instead of getting a bubble of air in the engine bay, you get a wind through it and it will help keep the engine bay cooler.

yes I do believe it, it's the unique ideas that make a car different, otherwise it'd look like any other car on the street, it's not meant to be a drag car, it's a street car, and it's damn fun to drive

i hope to be in the StL/Ofallon area sometime soon

but it doesn't work like that, its just making it a cheap cowl induction hood. the wind isn't going out right there, its pulling air in. to vent hot air out, the best way would be with fender vents, not the hood
