i have a friend that *drove* a 97 prelude. its was hella fast, given mods ofcourse. its basically what got me started with Hondas and their potential. that car blew up about 2 weeks ago. oil and water arent exactly engine friendly together. *BLAM* oil pan. shrapnel. took out the tire of another car passing by right as it blew.

Too fast for its own good
You will be missed
anyways...
i drive a white 1996 Acura Integra RS 5-speed with 14in factory enkei's that i spray painted black. the car looks ghetto, but the car has suprised me on occasion.
its taken down a V6 avenger (stock), 94 V6 camaro (exhaust, intake/from a dig no less!), V6 VTEC accord (exhaust, intake), and a hyundai elantra (fart can). YEEEEEEAA BOOOOY!!! not so much. i knew all those people. we were just messin around going to/from places on 55 and it just so happened we had our cars at the time. all of them except the elantra were automatic, which would explain the whole domination thing going on (a fat man could beat that avenger on a moped. and the driver takes that car seriously). i just wrote this to demonstrate how i was pretty damn suprised at how well i did with just an intake
its basically stock except for a AEM short ram (i heart throttle response), pioneer ipod head unit, and polk speakers. all thanks to graduation. those B-series are quite the attention getters under throttle, whick explains that rediculous factory set-up. being a college student pretty much makes me ass broke all the time. however, whatever spare time i have i devote to learning about hondas, any car that tickles my fancy, and internal combustion engines in general
i got big plans for the teggy and i hope to have basic air/fuel mods and fix that damn lip by the start of my 3rd year of college. (the old lady who previously owned it used her garage steps to bring the car to a halt)
however, my biggest obstacle ahead of me is an ls/vtec conversion. its what i would want to do most, given the extra displacement over the B18C's and nice boost in hp, but my biggest concerns are whether it would exceed the cost of a complete B18C swap, and reliability (this is where all the costs comes in at: building it to be reliable).
ultimately, my goal is to have an ls/vtec B18, all motor, capable of daily driving, JDM type-R interior pieces, clean up the exterior with a few personal touches, yet can most definitly kick ass when called upon.
thanks for reading :salute:
