My Hector

here is the car that started it all for me, my '67 Volkswagen Beetle. this could technically be considered my first car, but my name isn't first on the title, so i don't count it. It was bought from an old lady that had hardly ever taken it out. the deal was good so we took it. The car is completely stock with a few period correct accessories and I have won a few car show awards with it. Hector has the big 1500cc 12 volt engine with only 20K on it. Sadly this may go up for sale this summer, but i don't want to get rid of it, so i may look into getting it repainted and fixing a few things instead. let me know what ya think

^ that was the first car show i ever had a car entered in. the car behind it is my dad's 35 Ford

isnt that a chevy powered ford?

yes, most of the earlier fords are. mainly because they fit much better. the front sump oil pans on ford V8s don't like to go in there without getting a new crossmember. the original flatheads were rear sumped like the chevys. oh and chevys are better anyways
