I really like ep3s, who cares if it's not the fastest honda ever. Some people don't measure there manhood with horsepower, I personal use a ruler. Be carefull if you want to slam it, something with the tie-rods being connected to the shocks make for bad angles when lowered to much. If lowered to much ep3s actually handle worse than stock.

i would say that your statement is partially true, they wont handle worse than stock, but if you do lower them more than 2-2.5" than you will need to get different tie rods. the t1r tie rods flip the tie rod end to the bottom of the strut instead of the top, this decreases the angle of the tie rod therefore reducing the chances you will damage your steering rack. ill take some pics when i get around to doing mine. i would say mine is close to a 3 inch drop, and it handles AMAZING! besides the fact that the stock michelins arent really made for cornering.

Trooth, it sounds like you have a serious set up please post pics. I knew they have aftermarket kits to correct the angle of the tie rods, but I konow little about them.

I'm a big fan of the ep3 and would really like to get one, so please drop some knowledge.

man we are getting a lot of eps on here. and your correct about the lowering and if you do lower it save up and get coilovers because lowering springs + stock shocks= short shock life. my driver side shock pops every time i hit a bump. i ordered some after market ones today.

are you using your stock "top hats" "upper mounts" "bearing plates"(whichever you prefer) thats where you eil lget most of your popping from, not the strut itself.

my advice to u is to keep it stock and drive it as a DD and later get another car that has a better platform to start modding on
