I know alot of people hate on the car because of the stock hp numbers and prefer something quicker.
Key Points:
MSRP: $19,000-21,000 + 5000 for SC kit. $24-26,000 for a 2,600lb car that would make 172hp/173trq while still retaining very good MPG. Worth it?
Discuss.

Im not sure. $26K for that body only throwing that power....eh. Good idea in theory but I would have to ride in it before making a decision.

2600lb car and anything under 250whp and ft/lbs of torque is still quite slow.
my prelude is lucky if it can beat a stock srt4 neon.

I guess it all comes down to perspective.
As far as your typical bang for your buck comparison goes, I think it comes up way short and I would expect most people would agree. It's just not designed to produce big power.
However, if you are someone who was wanting a CR-Z with Si power this would be pretty appealing I would think. No need to go through the engine swap process and the price would be cheaper than that as well. You still get daily-driver qualities and I'm sure the rotrex keeps a nice, smooth powerband that's very useable.
So you can get a nice mini-Si that can still get good MPGs for a mid-twenties price all said and done... That's not too bad. I wouldn't do it, but I like bigger power numbers when I'm adding FI. Just personal preference.

Just looking for some opinions, wether it be good or bad. Me personally, i don't know if 5 grand can be justified on this..

For that money, I'd buy a BRZ/FR-S or a Clubman S.
