I decided I wanted a more reliable newer car, and it would have remaining factory warranty left as well. Im not the type to pay off a car, I actually like having a car note.

It sounds like you've made your choice. Everytime someone says don't do it you argue why you should. You did the same thing in your vette thread. If you're gonna buy it then buy it don't ask our opinion if you don't really want it.

Personally I wouldn't buy a Camaro cause I think they are ugly.

I really haven't made the choice though. The reason why I decided to think about the Camaro over vette was because of the reply above. I'm really not sure what i'd do. I've thought about doubling payments on the cobalt but then again, I dont intend to pay a car off.

I have no car payment and my insurance is now dirt cheap, I couldn't be happier about that.

Haven't you done this thread like 50 times already?
“Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless - like water. Now you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup, you put water into a bottle, it becomes the bottle, you put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.” - Bruce Lee

Pay cash for the car. No loans. If you can't afford to buy one right now, start stashing some money away until you do have enough to do so. The ONLY thing I'd take a loan out on is land or a house...

That's why it's in the Lounge(off-topic thread).
Just asking for opinions, if you don't feel like giving it then that's on you.
I listen to opinions, like I said I'm still in between on it.

I'm still thinking about it. Leaning more towards holding off until I can buy a 2013 1SS.
I've been considering paying the Cobalt down a little and just keeping it as well. I do like the look of the new Camaro, plus I can get a good deal on it.
