...I need verification
So this guy got in contact with me about my car. He said he has a b18c1 bottom end mated to a h22 head. Built by joey githons.....have I missed a new development making this h/b Frank motor possible?

My understanding is that you can ONLY do this with transmissions. But even with that you have to have an adapter. I agree with phate on this one.

To me, why would anyone ever use that combination anyway? Its not like the gsr/b16 head have really bad flow.
If anything.....it should be a h22 bottom with a b16/gsr top.
Also ask him what headgasket he uses....as well as a timing belt.
I really doubt the head bolt spacing is the same.....or the cylinder spacing....
Anyone have an h22 they can measure?
