The car scene has indeed died off, I remember being 16-17 years old and just driving down Hwy K in my Swapped civic and i'd find something to race. That doesn't really happen anymore, even tho i'm not looking for races anymore.

I just recently got out of hondas, got a 240 and am exploring uncharted territory for myself personally. Honda's were my reason for being into cars, and i still love them, but i grew out of it honestly.

I was always active, a privateer if you will, i was never associated with anyone else but i was always around. Last year i did the whole Autocross season in my Integra and that was insanely fun. No other members were really there other than Clayton and Budget_Crx.

I guess what i'm saying is, and most other og members is, we grew out of meeting up all the time, we've done it for years. Now you newer crowd of enthusiasts should take charge.

Sure we all get bored and move on. Some people have families and get into other aspects of life. Some move on to different makes like Erik was saying. That doesn't mean that we can't all still get together and share ideas, new fads, styles, ect.. I am always interested to hear what is new in the scene. As we all know the scene is always changing. Anyway hope to see everyone at bbt tonight. I have a little project after work but ill be there a bit later.

Thought i do not live in stl anymore and have sense sold the Si. i do come back to the site from time to time and have notice it wasnt like it use to be back when it first came out in 2006. hell i remember the cruise to alton to take pictures and it still is the banner of this page along with an eclipse in it LOL.

I almost always attend every event posted.

I usually stick around the core group of car guys I hangout with, but in no sense does that mean I'm not down to meet new people.

I visited a few meets/cruises a few years ago when I first moved here. The median age was much younger than me and I soon developed a pet name for you people: Honda Punks. Mostly that applies to the teenage ricers, but I just felt too old for the scene. I've met a few ppl buying or selling parts and everyone was cool. I would be up for some meet-ups / hard parking / bar-b-que!!!, but cruises are not fun for me... I drive a long commute every day, I don't want to go drive a bunch more on the weekend. Hangouts are better because you can talk to people and gawk at cars.

Once my car is up and going after the minor.maintainence ill be atteneding all the things my schedule allows for only been on the site a couple years and met a few ppl but I would really like to see the site get back to being very organized and active
