I think it's that people's car are perpetually on jack stands.

To get a big enough turn out it usually has to be like 3 months in advance, it has to be something cool, the weather has to be decent, it cant be more than 2 miles away from anyones place and some of the more popular people have to show otherwise nobody will show.

Back in 02-03 the car scene for me was pretty new. I was going out at least 1-2 times a week....usually either south county or west county. Local authorities were not as bad....now it seems like they treat racing worse than first degree murder. Don't get me wrong....I'm not saying racing on public roads is right, but there are smart ways and not so smart ways of doing it.
And like J.M.P. said, I like to cruise on cruises....but sometimes it does seem like a gumball rally. I like to get an occasional pull in....but only if conditions are right.

A lot of us still have get togethers they are just secret cause me and the other OG's know how to act so we keep it private. Also a lot of us are older now and moving on to bigger things. Buyin houses getting career jobs and the like. We just don't have time to make it to a meet on the weekends where it's full of 16 year olds doing burnouts and other ricer stuff.

i think i drive the ugliest car on the site. but it's reliable. lol. i drive that mug errwhrerr. i keep it OG. everybody's cars are always braking down. danm...
I'm gon hurt some feelin's this summer

I just have no faith in new members and basically the whole st louis area car scene. I keep my car activities to my personal friends. It's just how things have panned out since i've been here.
