whats happen to this site

I vented to rickles about this the other day. Now i want to see what everyone else thinks.

What has happen to this site. We used to go on big cruz, have bbq, bubble tea, bowling night, nights were we would meet up just to work on someones car, stlhondas.com Midnight madness booth and more. The car sence is bigger than ever but it feels like this site has fallen off the map. I setup a car meet 1 time a month 200+ cars and i never see any stlhonda member there. I understand gas prices are high and no one wants to cruz, but there is a 1000 other things we could do. I also understand alot of the OG member are older and have familys and more important things to do. But we have alot of new members and alot of og members that are still active. People we need to do something and do it soon.

Am i the only person that feels this way?

My answer is my car is fucked and I hate it so I don't drive unless I'm going to work or an errand.

my answer is you all live to damn far! lol jk. im still up in the area just not nearly as much as i used to be. i still try to make big events whenever possible. i do miss the cruises though but thats just because my car isnt done and i havent been able to go on any of the recent ones

I actually have only met a handful of people from this forum. And that was usually to trade or sell parts. I haven't been to a official meet that I can remember. I work all week, and usually an hour from home. So by the time I get off work, get home and get ready its already late enough for me to go to bed. Plus I have a child that goes to school, so I need to make sure she is ready for everything before I do anything else.

Hopefully when I get my Fit going on some mods, I will make it out to some events or meets or cruises. On cruises I like to just cruise, the one and only cruise I went on we were speeding and trying to keep up with everyone else is not my cup of tea when I just want to enjoy a Sunday afternoon relaxing and cruising some back roads.

This. I'm an hour from everyone.

My work schedule doesn't allow much of a social life either.

Honestly I am getting older, and have alot of the family/life stuff. I still go out from time to time but not nearly as often. Honestly it would be nice for some of the younger members to step up and start planning.
