amp wont turn on the right way

Yeah i've been dealing with this thing for a few days now it randomly stopped working on me one day.
I replaced my remote wire and ran it then it still wouldnt turn on. The only way it turns on is if i jump the remote terminal and power terminal with a piece of 14g wire. But then when the bass hits it likes to cut out a lot. I restripped the power and ground wires as well. my ground has been the same the entire time and im just now having issues getting it to turn on and not fluctuate with the bass. the fuses are fine on the amp and in line fuse.
what could be the issue? goes from bass one day to not even wanting to turn on then being able to turn on but cut out a lot. any help is appreciated thanks.

check your wires for loose connections (your ground should also be going to clean bare metal) and then test your power & remote wires with a volt/ohm meter.

Trust try running a remote right to the radio fuse in the fuse box just to see if that will stop the cutting out

I am thinking it might be your head unit with the issue.

I think I kno the issue. I jumped the terminals and took the power cable out and bam it turns on but obv it's bc of my remote supplying the power. So now I kno it's most likely my power cable. I'll just run a new one

Mine cuts out right now, but its actually not making a good contact between the fuse and fuse block under the hood. I think its minor oxidation on the fuse. I'm going to dialectic grease it tonight and see if that helps.

I was recently having the same issue but I noticed if I turned my car off it would come right back on I think its my remote wire

Yeah it may be my fuse as well. fuse looks fine but idk maybe its slightly busted. I hit a lot of bumps and my fuse sits inside the spare tire area lol. well i thought it was my remote bc of the shitty 18 gauge wire I had. but i had the idea of taking off the power wire after jumping the terminals while still connected remote wire and bam it lights up but I didnt turn it up bc i dont think the amp would appreciate only 12v
