Pros and Cons of SIUE

Post by horn12007 »

Anyone go there?

I'm debating on transferring from SIUC (found out the C stands for crackheads)....

I know E is cheaper than C. A lot less fees. Both schools suck in sports, but SIUE is closer to STL so I could more easily go see a Blues or Cards game.

I haven't heard of any cons except the building are very spaced out? what else is there....

(and I'm going for a business degree.)

Cons: Edwardsville is full of bratty kids.

Pros: Edwardsville is full of slutty girls.

At least from what I gather.

Pros: It's a pretty nice looking campus. Prices were too bad (at least when I first started).

Cons: If you don't double check the advice they give you they'll fleece every dime from you they can (though a lot of colleges are guilty of this now).

Oh, and killer geese.

I went for a B.S. in Geography, Specialization in GIS and honestly felt I learned much more from my GIS professor at SWIC in Belleville (Mr. Arnold, who is honestly the best teacher I've ever had for anything). They have a nice growing Geography department with some good professors but their GIS classes could use some work.
