And this is a HONDA site. Don't like it, don't read my shit.
Doesn't mean that there can't be friendly discussions about other makes when comparing things though. You've just got an attitude about others trying to start anything of the sort though.
That's alright, I can solve it though.

Aluminum head, block, and DOHC 4.6L modular?
nah its a twin turbo based off the older aluminum block.
2008 Chevy Slobalt Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall, torque is how far you take the wall with you.

I agree with Edison. This is a Honda/Acura site we dont have to like other stuff thats why we are on a make specific site. We dont go on LS1tech saying omg look vtec your pushrod v8's are out of date. Also he didn't start the topic of v8 vs 4cyl, rich did with the "I wouldn't call it a v8 killer cause there is full interior cars with the numbers getting grouceris". He was just replying to it cause it's true. So what if a mustang, Camaro, vette, or what ever other v8 can make that power and go to schnucks. They aren't 2.0L 4cyl.

Mah ninja. Real fucking talk.
Someone posted a 9.5 sec 4 banger and 2 of the first 3 replies are "but there's better V8's". Any thread on this site that is "hey look at this fast four cylinder" or "hey I killed this V8 in my Honda/Nissan/Toyota" turns into a bashing fest on Honda cars or engines. For being a Honda site there's more bashing or knocking on Hondas than there are talking about how much we like them.
But anyway, I like this S2000. That's what this thread is about.

I just responded to the license plate. So actually the picture started the topic. However I did go onto state that it did put down good numbers. And it might be just a 2.0l but I'm betting it weighs less than the v8's. They are definitely stout numbers. Just saying the plate is pretty bold for what is probably only a track piece.
Also the statement about of years of experience behind v8 drag racing is honestly a silly question. As in this topic its about a rwd vehicle. Also a lot of the current v8's are just as high tech as the 4 cylinders with only the ls1 being similar in architecture to the old v8's. And the 4 cylinders is nothing new either. With some of the old school offy 4 cylinders putting down numbers naturally aspirated that
Would still be impressive by todays standards. Though that is off topic.
Cliff notes : car makes nice numbers but the license plate is a bit bold.

Just saying that the drag honda community hasn't really been at it for that long. While the internet/computers/datalogging has probably helped its progression, to me it is still amazing what these motors will put out, built or bone stock.

Why bother comparing it to a V8 anyway? It seems like anytime a four cylinder runs that fast or makes high HP domestic/V8 guys find any reason to discredit it. What's the point? Why bother making your initial statement anyway? This parts not directed towards you in particular, but it seems like the domestic V8 crowd are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more closed minded than the Honda/FWD/4 cylinder crowd. Is it an insecurity thing or what?
One time when I was on STLMustangs I posted the Bisimoto 600+whp wagon build and those guys got sooooooooooooooooooooo fucking arrogant and cocky about. "The Honda guy in this vid is a fag". "Who cares, it's still a rice burner". "Can't pick up chicks in it'. WEAK.
What would happen if I went to some site like LS1tech and posted this S2000 in some guys "look at my 9 sec Camaro" and was like "That's cool but this car does the same thing with less than half the motor".
I won't even start talking about the technology each brings to the table as we'd be here all day and it'd get way off topic.

Honestly to me that kind of power out of that car is impressive. I only compare
d the 2 due to the license plate.
