I need to get another one. I'm in the market for a 40, any opinions as far as brands?

I posted that because people bash the hell out of Hi Points because it's a $100 pistol. It may be a little rough, and sure as hell not going to win a beauty contest, but a robber isn't going to tell the difference, either way he has a hole in his chest. lol Considering the biggest room I have in my house is 1/3 the distance I practice at, I don't think I'll miss. :)

I still wonder how I would do if I went back to the range like the Marine Corps. See if I could still manage 9 out of 10 with open sites at 500 yards. I was a 5th Award Expert, and spent a lot of time on the range as a coach. I just never messed with pistols until recently when I wanted something for home defense.

As long as you can still listen to instruction, you can do it, lol. I'm sure you know how it is, coaching. Just the fundamentals.

No pictures and nothing fancy.

-KelTec P32 for pocket carry
-Marlin .22 for plinking
-Ithaca Model 37 20 Gauge (by far my highest quality gun)

I'm looking at selling the P32 so I can get a larger caliber wheel gun. It's been incredibly reliable, but I'm thinking about something like a Ruger LCR.
