The c9 is a brick, but it just works.

Ive heard nothing but terrible things about hi point guns.

I need to get something though, maybe a 9mm or 40 for CC or home defense

You don't know what you're talking about. You're not very smart, and the things you're saying are nonsense. And I'm not angry. But you do need to shut up.

Xdm .40 it doesn't get shot much. But it's a great gun. I'll post others if this thread continues.

Most of the critisim comes from gun snobs. Mine just work, and keep working. The C9 has well over 1000 rounds through it and no jams/stove pipes or anything. You are more than welcome to come out and squeeze off a few rounds some time.

It's not pretty, it's not lite, its not the easiest to clean, but it works.

Same thing ive heard, everybody who has them, say they arent pretty, but they work just fine. I have no complaints about mine, but yes, compared to a $600, its a brick, but ive never missed with it at 25 yards, ive put about 500 rounds through mine.

Same here, if you wanna shoot mine, Im a member of a 24/7 gun range in Alton by the Casino.

Nothing cool on my end. I have a break action Daisy .177 pellet gun; that's about it. If anyone knows of anything (guns or parts) I am actively looking (trade or cash) so I can quit shooting this pellet gun...

That XDm is a good looking gun. Friend of mine has had some Hi Points to just beat on and he loved them since he did not have to be extra careful with them.
