What are your plans for winter?

Post by RyanA »

Truck- find leak that popped up on my recent trip to STL. Build basic sub box, install component set, install small amp.

CRX- Install new radiator, paint calipers, PDR dent on passenger side, install new shocks, look into complete repaint.

93 EX sedan- Install GSR engine, 4.7 FD trans, bolt ons. Bilstein/Neuspeed coilovers, larger front sway, ITR rear sway/ASR brace, ???

99 LX sedan- replace headlights, install EM1 grille (actually already done) and lip, install alarm/remote start.

Cadillac- Install different head unit but keep OEM amp/sub/speakers for now. Probably update front mids, all 4 front tweets, center channel. Look into a free-air 12" sub to replace the factory one; possibly build a box that fires through factory rear deck opening.

Camaro- finally get the drivetrain installed. Bolt ons, bigger front brakes, get roll bar wrapped in leather.

Wife's Camaro- basic detailing and maintenance.

That is all I have plans for so far. Winter is pretty long so I'm sure I'll end up with a few more projects...

Civic Si- replace adjustable coilovers with Eibach pro kit, get front and rear bumpers repainted, get old wheels looking good or replace them.

How in the fuck can you guys afford a $70k car? And why an M3? For that price just get a GTR

You don't know what you're talking about. You're not very smart, and the things you're saying are nonsense. And I'm not angry. But you do need to shut up.

Just buy a used injen they are cheap.

-Sound system almost finished(waiting on amp in mail and gotta get a box).
-Buying my H&R Sport lowering springs back from friend
-Custom make cold air intake
-Maybe a Magnaflow muffler(clean looking one)
-HID kit
Dont forget the over the axle pipe to make it a true 2.5"
And please do a retrofit for the HID kit

As far as my projects go....

Eclipse: Start it once a month probably leave it alone who knows...

Cobalt: Swapping on a different set of wheels for winter and finish wiring the amp and sub maybe a downpipe and tune.

Camaro: control arms, cam & valvesprings, new dash, new seats, new front fender and bumper, new front tires, lowering springs, larger or dual fuel pump, larger injectors and if I find a good deal on an 18x9-18x11 wheel set I might grab those. Other than that a good 4 inch exhaust and a tune and she will be good for a while.

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall, torque is how far you take the wall with you.
Hope this helps

Yes I own 2 slow red chick cars & 1 real car!

Just installed the sound system, sounds good. worked immediately, no diagnosing ground or power :). Ordered a brand new set of sprint lowering springs, got em for a steal. I may have a set of H&R sport lowering springs for a 2.2 or 2.4 cobalt, they are used but i'll sell em cheap once i get em.
how much is a cheap used injen kit? and where can i get one? i was gonna make a kit outta abs or pvc, one of my friends did it before and it worked great.
what do you mean a retrofit for the HID?

Pay off the last 4 payments of my house... then I will probably end up purchasing a civic for a daily driver and hunt for an FC rolling chassis for my race project.
