I am thinking tires too. I bought 2 new front ones but they aren't getting mounted and balanced until Monday

if you don't feel it in the wheel, it maybe a rear tire... just a thought...

It was louder, I replaced the 2 rears thinking it was them, it cut the sound in half. I think its really just a crappy wheel. Maybe even retreads. Her father put them on her car a little over a year ago and got htem for $35 a piece. Or as he put it, "A smoken deal"

Sometimes she's like "OMG IT'S MAKING THIS NOISE IT'S BROKEN FIX IT!!!" and I'm like "it's a 20 year old economy car, that plastic and stuff inside is gonna rattle and make all kinds of squeeks". But really she never goes past 3k on oil changes, bought brand new tires, knows to pull over right away if it drives funny or starts to even get a tiny bit warm.
Being the grease monkey that I am I also kinda got that beat into mine's head also... and thusly I seem to get the weekly its making this noise now...

That aside I saw one where a guy brought a car in with the spare donut on backwards... not the directional tread stuff the wheel itsself.

No I was a little more intrigued that it was possible and didn't think to really talk about it.

Well it turned out not to be the tires, but we did find out the problem whil putting on the new ones. The driver side rear drum is dragging.
