So the wife told me that her car has been making an odd noise lately(lately being for the past year). So I drive it to work today, and good god this thing has more than one problem sh hasn't told me about.

1. Oil change was over 10k miles ago
2. SRS light is on
3. Wipers ore worthless(surprised she hasn't killed herself in her 60 mile daily drive)
4. radio skips over bumps
5. rear brakes are grinding
6. something stinks(dont think its me)
7. its making this noise:

I get it, things go bad, buy why not let me know so I can fix them as needed!

Not to mention her biggest problem.. her cluster is upside down...!

But i agree... my fiance only tells me when her car is falling apart that it has something wrong.

I had this girl drive all the way from paducah Kentucky to trade her car in and the car had the whole cluster of lights lit up. I started it and drove it and was like wtf how did she make it here. haha.
Some people just dont notice the lights

I knew this girl several years ago that got a brand new vw beetle. She drove it 27xxx miles and it blew up. she didn't know you had to change oil......lol

one of my friends bought a cobalt from a guy on clist like 200 miles away with a blown engine. he never changed the oil.
bought it for 2200, its a coupe.

Maybe its because I grew up around cars and doing at least the PM services but I always find it kinda funny what some guys cant do with cars. I used to work with a guy that couldn't change a tire and didn't know how to change the oil on his truck. The same guys girlfriend had a CEL on her car so they took it to the shop and paid $60 to have it read because they knew nothing about Auto stores doing it for free to find out it was just a loose gas cap. LOL
