No problem. Most of my experience are first hand. I had to learn most things by myself.....usually means the hard way. lol.

Have you narrowed down any searches? or are there a few things that a school has to have or can't have. (location, cost, if there is a high vd rate? jk.....)

i cant speak for other schools but Ranken is a good choice if your looking for an automotive career. im assuming you like Hondas haha Ranken offers Automotive Import Technology...where we basically work on hondas and toyotas for 4 hours a day. The instructors really do care, and are just good people in general.

Just been accepted into UTI attending the Chicago campus in August (:& decided on Chicago campus bc honda is finally teaming up with Honda for a car program not just for motorcycles. And it's only taught at that location :/ Cali is on hold now.

i go to swic in granite for the aviation program, ever thought about that? its alot of fun to learn about and the career is quite rewarding for as of what i see from other people in the aviation field and friends of mine that are in aviation. i know its not about cars but its something about the same and different at the same time. only takes 50 weeks to get your certificates.

yeah i see what your saying. i just like doing the car scene and stuff as a hobby. i didnt want to do my hobby as a career and risk loosing interest in it due to getting burned out on it. i figured it be cooler and fun to work on other things besides cars and such so i choose aviation. plus the salary in it can get to 120k+ annually.

but anyway congrats on getting accepted into UTI! do you think you'll try to get trained by a manufacturer or something after your amt training is over? they have great opertunities like that with getting into higher end company training.

Well I'm happy to hear you are going to be making bank right off the bat lol. But for me I'm the type of person that can do this car scene as a hobby and as a profession. Some are not and you're one of them like this stuff just as a hobby and nothing wrong with that! But yeah I'm taking the 9-12 week additional manfu. Honda training it's also extra 5,000$ :/ but that's the reason I'm moving to Chicago for that training lol. I love hondas have a passion for them and just like to make that grow! (:
