What car/combination should I do?

just checked the VIN and it is a 01. Most likely they replaced the badges :/.....

I've had mine close to 2 years and my dad has had his for like 6. The prices don't take too big of a hit in the winter, but the spring is the better time to buy.

If it's an 01', I'd look for signs that it's been modded then, but it's most likely that someone just wanted to badges to people would be able to identify as a Z.

Like I said, any questions/advice you may have, feel free to ask and I'll help if I can. If I can't I'll point you in the right direction.

Thanks. Yeah it is classified as a Z still on the VIN, they may have wanted to make ppl think it had the 405. does the one with 385 have badges?
I planned on around March/April most likely. Gotta pay some bills down first.
I'll be working overnight shift starting Dec. so its 10% more, and ill prob spend less $.

I honestly don't know if the 01's had badges or not, never really paid attention to them, lol

And I've actually had mine almost 3 and my dad has had his almost 7 come to think of it. His is defiantly one of a kind around here and gets a ton of compliments every time he takes it out (which isn't much the last couple of years)

Just with all the stuff he's done to it over the years. There's too much to list right now and this is the only pic I have of it at work. The only thing I keep trying to get him to change is the wheels, I'm not really a fan of them, but until the tires need replaced he's not gonna mess with them. Next on his list is a Paxton SC with the L5 fender flares and a wider set of wheels.

Looks like a zr1 hood. Look Good and yeah those wheels need to go. The convertible I was looking at was silver and the z06s are black. Ones black with red leather

I'll list what I can remember when I get home, but the hood is an MCM, full carbinfiber s/c hood. (the bump has a functional vent that helps dissipate heat and keep an s/c unit cool).

Sounds expensive. Yeah I've decided if I get a z06 I won't do any mods. If I get a base I'll get exhaust

Lol, it was. IIRC, I don't think they make the hood anymore.

It's also got a Tigershark front end, carbonfiber stuff under the hood, custom seat cover, a Z06 airbox, LG 1 3/4in LT headers into their catted x-pipe and a GHL exhaust, the Weld wheels (no longer made either), larger drilled and slotted rotors, Z06 calipers (powder coated to match the color) and tinted windows.

There's more, but that's all I can think of right now.
