Moving to St. Louis soon

Greetings. My name is John. When I graduate in December, my wife and I are going to be moving to the St Louis area. Both of our families are there, mostly on the Illinois side. I've never lived there, however.

*Edit* Thanks to you guys who offered help to my brother-in-law! This place rocks... can't wait to meet some of you.

I've owned my share of Hondas, and just sold an awesome autocross car... It had extremely pimptastic suspension and brakes. It also had a b20 swap. It's been two weeks and I miss it.

Now, I'm down to one Honda... my daily driver... It is mostly stock except for a mpfi swap and suspension, but I have dreams of boost.:shhh: sleeper wagon.. For now, it gets about 38 mpg in the city and is a great daily for me. Here is an old pic before the suspension...

im sure tehre is someone on that side that can help, otherwise I will see what kind of time i have and maybe a few of us can make the trip over there and do some diagnosing.

nice hatch(es) I haven't seen a really clean wagon around here in a loooong time, and that hatch looks awesome too, I would miss that thing too!

Welcome man and im sure theres a few honda gurus that will help him out. Also nice hatch and wagon. I would miss the hatch also but theres always more projects.

Heh... you mention other projects... If my bro's 94 Si did in fact break the timing belt, there's my next project. We agreed a long time ago that I would get it once he was able to get something different. He might be forced into that decision depending on what we find with this no-start issue. The car is relatively clean, but not exactly babied. At least it is unmolested, though.

Am I stupid, or is there no classifieds section here? (I don't see one) Does it only appear to veteran members or something? Where do you guys go for local used Honda stuff? Do you guys all use craigslist or something?

it will have to be after 4pm...

all you really have to do to check for a broken t-belt is this, remove the oil cap and have someone crank it over, if the valves arent movin, its a t-belt... quick and easy way to diagnos that problem...
