help needed with v.i.n.

can anyone on here help me find some info on this car's history. stolen, lien, salvage. here is the v.i.n. JTHBD182110030617 any help would be greatly appreciated.

well, tossed it into carfax, which isn't free like it says, so all i get is that its a 01 lexus is300.

Records:29 records found in the CARFAX Vehicle History database

idk what each record is for, but 29 seems like alot

autocheck.com found 39 records....

but then again, mine has been in 4 accidents, and has friggin 16 records.. so who knows

A record could be bad or something as simple as an oil change at the dealership, vehicle emissions/safety testing, buying/selling, or registering. Look at the example carfax they have, you will see.

If you're looking to buy this do yourself a favor and pay for the carfax. My S2000 was bought with a clean title only to find out the title was previously salvaged and then washed in Georgia 10 years ago. Don't get stuck with what you THINK is a clean titled car. As someone said, 29 reports could be nothing, but it also increases the chances that one of those reports is that the car was at one point wrecked bad and salvaged.

thanks alot guys, i'll go and get a carfax. i wasnt sure if there were any liens on it or not.
