Good Zombie Books

I don't know what it is about Zombies being such a popular topic, but I've always been on that bandwagon. Watched a bunch of movies and have now started getting into the books. Right now I am reading World War Z and have Zombie Survival Guide to read after it. I am just curious what others have read and what they suggest reading.

Side note, can't wait for the World War Z movie!

Day by day armegedon, day of exile ( sequel to day by day armegedon)
There's the walking dead graphic novels that are really good, those are the only ones I can think of. I know Josh has a few more to add to this

I read a Zombie Survival Guide once. It was really cool, written like the guy actually thought it would happen. Can't remember what the author's name was to save my life.

I think the zombies look cool... but the story went off track from the books after the first... Wait, and even before the end of episode 1, the show took a hard 90* turn from the book. Shane should have died in episode 1 by Carl, Rick's son.

I'd tell you more, but if you read the books and then watch the show, you will be MORE than let down even though the author of the books said it was ok for the show to go whatever route they wanted to take it away from the books. It's still fucking gay to me. I don't know how Potts or anyone else feels about it that have read the books too, but i hate it

Its a cool show but its under its own story line, you can even compare the two anymore. Half of the first episode, a few of the characters and the night attack were the only things that link the tv show with the books. I think if it were on a different network like showtime or hbo they would probably stick more to the books due to the fact that they get violent as shit but AMC is doing an alright job on keeping it under a cable network.

Max Brooks wrote one, I imagine its the one you read, he was the same one who did world war z
