Jobs in O'fallon

Post by luthoro »

Anyone know of anywhere in the O'fallon MO area that's hiring? I've been jobless almost a month and now my savings is empty too and pretty soon my utilities are going to start getting shut off and my TV, computer, and washer/dryer are going to get repo'd if I don't get the payments caught up (Aaron's Rent-to-Own).

I've done over 30 apps and no calls so maybe I'm looking in the wrong places. Any help with where to apply that actually hiring would be awesome.

Sorry if this isn't an appropriate thread given that this is a car enthusiast forum, I just don't know who else to ask. Everyone I know I have already talked to and nobody had any ideas that actually panned out. Thanks.

go to a temp to hire place like adecco, manpower, aerotek, express etc. depends on what your skills are tho. you should be able to get a warehouse job pretty easily that makes like 10 an hour or sumn. I did a seasonal night job with aerotek while i had a day job to get extra cash one winter. Not the best job ever, but it was an extra 600 a week. hope that helps kid

Idk how desperate but have you tried jiffy lube, valvoline etc. Most lube places have a pretty high turnover rate...As a matter of fact the oil change place at Bryan and fiese has a "now hiring" on their sign.

Yeah, I have applied for that Valvoline three times this month. No good for some reason.

I plan to get training for a CDL within the next year so I can drive trucks OTR, I just need something to get me by until then.

I worked at Valvoline once, problem with them is that they like to hire people with no experience working on cars, they tell you at orientation that they prefer that way so they can teach you how to do all the services "the correct way" soo coming from me, if you really want a job there phrases like "I want to learn blah blah blah" and "I don't know much but i'm a quick learner" Stuff like that. Just putting in my experience, good luck with the job hunt though.

If you can do basic Car audio installs, The Audio Express in Ballwin is hurting bad. He called my install bay today begging for information on anybody looking for a job, and kept asking me how much it would take for me to leave my current job. lol

Managers Name is Dave.

If your in Ofallon Mo, its a little drive, but hes talking like it would be 50 hours a week. Better than nothing.

You don't know what you're talking about. You're not very smart, and the things you're saying are nonsense. And I'm not angry. But you do need to shut up.
