..well currently it's just to use Adobe Photoshop CS5 and Illustrator CS5 for work, League of Legends when I'm on free down time, a lot of heavy photography work...I do take this laptop when I'm not at home...I don't change technology that much, so hoping for it to live maybe 6 years but we all know every year technology is outdating itself.

Also, it's FREAKAZOID! LOL

i think my imac is perfect for all of those things except the game shit. the mac book pro is the shit too. I personally will never use a pc unless i have to again since i switched.

I'm not dissing Apple or anything, I use iMacs at work daily and PC more as a gaming preference. Grew up with it and didn't see the hype into the Apple products. It's not really for gaming in my opinion. Now financially speaking, I kinda wanted to get something that is like reasonable within the budget ..Apple would work great with my iPhone 4, but again I can't see Apple being a gaming machine to me..Apple and Adobe go hand in hand though but so does Windows for all the generations of Adobe 8+ I've used it on. I will probably end up with the Lenovo after reading everyone's reply. Thanks STLHondas. >:D

As for the Mac people, i have to ask why? Other than it being so easy an idiot can use it, they are overpriced, insecure, and have relatively poor build quality.

I love my Mac because I have owned it for three years and I have NEVER had a problem. It has never slowed down on me and has never given me an error message.

I do not build computers. I use them for school, and for my job as a dj. Apple has the latest edge on editing tools with most music, photo, and video editing.

You get what you pay for....I spent $1500 on my Mac and I haven't ever had it crash or lose any data. My charger has never failed me and the battery still hold charge for 7 or so hours with use. I don't know many pc's who's battery will last long, and wont need to have the battery replaced after the first 1.5 years.
I will never own a pc after being so satisfied with a Mac.

We get that mac laptops are really good guys, but she doesn't want one because frankly gaming on them is far from ideal (which she wants to do).

If that weren't a factor, I would absolutely say get one. Yeah they cost more but you won't typically have as many issues compared to a typical laptop. Not to mention you have all the nice software.

Mac desktops are another story though... Stay away. Very far away.

my previous post did agree with you tho, i kno they arent great for gaming. I have 3 different pcs, an acer, a hp, and an hp.... hehe. One I have set aside for tuning (whenever i get a car to use it for), one for school and one dedicated for online porn lol, so i dont mess up my imac which i actually value
