I just narrowed it down to two laptops and still can't debate over which one to buy. LOL

I heard Lenovo has a bad rep but I'm not sure.

Which laptop to buy?
..well currently it's just to use Adobe Photoshop CS5 and Illustrator CS5 for work, League of Legends when I'm on free down time, a lot of heavy photography work...I do take this laptop when I'm not at home...I don't change technology that much, so hoping for it to live maybe 6 years but we all know every year technology is outdating itself.
Also, it's FREAKAZOID! LOL

Nothing you buy now is going to last or be even close to current in 6 years let alone run a current version of Photoshop very well in 2+ years. If I had to pick from the above I would go with the lenovo.

If you want something that even has a chance of keeping up with tech you need to get a beast now.

Yeah its a little pricey. I usually budget for my laptops to have a 3 year life span. right now i am on year 1.5 of my Dell Latitude E6400 and it has been treating me very well, but it is not designed for graphics and the stuff you want to do. it is a very business oriented laptop.

My friend has had his Lenovo for over a year and he really likes it. Knows computers too. If anything, I wouldn't trust the Acer concerning quality.Vixen89;271203 wrote:I just narrowed it down to two laptops and still can't debate over which one to buy. LOL

I would go with the Lenovo if I had to choose between those two.
You give up screen size on it and a bit of hard drive space, but you gain the i7 processor and you can always grab an external HD if you don't already have one for extra space.
