I will first say this is a mini rant based on a conversation that happened in a now deleted thread on an RX7 forum. So I understand the hatred behind deliberate knock off pieces kike the fake tine springs, and various wheel manufactures. What I don't understand is why cheaper parts are starting to get lumped in with fake parts. Yes i realize you get what you pay for and don't plan to go out and but a $20 set of coil overs, but I am still going to shop for quality vs price. So I didn't buy the over priced exhaust from racing beat, I went with a different brand that was a no name brand(even bought it second hand), with no matching design cues from the racing beat system other than it follows the stock exhaust path and made 10 more HP on the stock engine than the racing beat setup(manufacturers numbers).
Why give me shit for buying fake parts?

times a million. I have never been the guy that needs 4500 dollar rims when draglites and mickey thompsons will do exactly what i want. I do believe you get what you pay for....but to a point. I know of many small businesses that outperformed many others before they went mainstream, and now that they have a descent rep they suck, charge to much, and have shitty service. I loved K sport when they first came out, they even valved my coilovers for my drag setup on my car for next to nothing, now they wont even do a damn thing for less than 400 to 500.
