Set to reopen Oct 2012. WTH? Have to wait another year, and then it will be open for what, 2 weeks? If weather even cooperates. Why not just say spring 2013?

GIR reopens?
What im saying is, why even bother with 2012? October is going to be a crap shoot, and then the season is over.

I drove by it a few times recently on the way to Speedway for parts runs, and the lot is overgrown with weeds, the signs are falling apart, etc. Its gonna take some work to bring GIR back to life.
What's up with the new MAR? I guess that's not happening now?

Personally, I don't care. But the flipside of that coin is that whoever bought it and intends to reopen it isn't going to do so until its clean and presentable again. If it was me I would do the same thing.Edison Carasio;273493 wrote:I said the place looked like shit along time ago and people were like "OMG WTF WHO CARES?"
