i live in granite city and the tlk around here is that it opening in aug! sounds promising this time!

The place is full of weeds in the parking lot and still looks abandoned. So if it's reopening it doesn't look like they have done any maintenance to make it look presentable.

the article phate referenced said they were finalizing papers and such, so i doubt they would start working on getting it ready until everything is finalized and the contract is signed, otherwise they might end up doing a bunch of work for nothing.

For a quick opening, do you think they really give a shit about the parking lot? Clean the track, put in or fix the timing system, and lets rock. Make it pretty in March. lol

BTW: My people in higher places, says this looks like its actually going to happen.
