Your buddy is a liar if that's all he has done. my engine is a fully built b20vtec only thing stock on it is the crank and I'm not even close to 260whp. 263 whp on 8psi with a turbo maybe but def not n/a on a oem internal bottom end. If it was that easy everyone would have them

Idk, my friends lsvtec dyno'd at 223 whp, and it wasnt "fully built." It depends on the tuner I suppose.

How much of a difference does it make to replace the ls pistons with type r or b16 pistons?

i could see 263 on spray or F/I but not N/A with the mods listed.

go to a compression calculator and look at the difference when you switch from ls to b16.

i had a ls/vtec in my old jdm teg. it was a nice lil car. i miss it sometimes only because the person who bought it off me fucked it up.

and as for the ls/vtec kit, $300 is a ripoff. i got mine for $30 new.

also theres no way stage 2 cams and internals are gonna net 260+whp. the only way i can see those numbers is with some spray or itb's with e85.
