I don't UNLESS they HAVE to drive a truck. My GF's dad was bitching because it cost him $100 to fill his Silverado up, but the bed has NEVER had anything hauled in it and he drives it less then 3 miles a day and he's had a a car sitting in front of the house for over 2 years that just needed a battery (as of two years ago).

No sympathy for people like that.

About $31 to fill up 8 gal in the Civic last week. It averages about 35mpg. Best commuter car.

Gotta love Illinois gas prices... Hopefully Troy will have cheaper than 4.19 when I need to fill up.

Last fill up at 4.09 in Collinsville. This was in my 1998 Honda Accord LX with 230,XXX miles.

I filled it up 15 gallons and got a bit over 420 miles leading to 28 mpg.

Pretty good for mixed driving. I have been getting 27-28 mpg consistently driving about the same city/highway distances.

35-38 mpg in a 94 hatch w/ a d16y8 swap

My truck and mustang get about 16 and 19 respectively, don't drive them unless it's absolutely necessary though
