To stop rocks and debris from getting up onto your paint. Also to stop it from hitting vehicles behind you.

Take them off and sell them. They're kinda rare. People will pay good money for the front ones usually. Ive seen them on CRX community for a hundred or so. The back ones are easier to get since the dealer still sells them. Still can get decent money out of them
