yellow headlights

I got pulled over for my yellow headlights, I had no idea they are illegal is this true? anyone else have em and get pulled over?

Are the lenses tinted yellow, or is that the color of your bulbs?

did you get a ticket...i have yellow highs and i drive with them on all the time
and havent gotten any grief (yet)

The way it was explained to me is:

Cant have ONLY yellow on. I have 5k HID low beams, and 3k highs. Never had a problem with them.

i had yellow bulbs before i never got mess with by the city police but i did got a ticket in the county for it.its just a fix it ticket,no biggie.

yellow bulbs and got no ticket and it was a stl county cop he was actually very cool he asked if I had a b18 and shit lol, thanks for the government post I was about to look up that

You can't have only yellow bulbs lighting the road.

I have stock HIDs (white) and the 5k highbeams, and 3k fog lights...

The way i see it, the more light you have on the road, as long as it's not over powering, the better off you will be and with 4-5K being "pure" white you'll be able to see more. I live on roads loaded with deer and many other decently sized animals... I prefer seeing what's ahead of me. Lol

yea I have yellow fogs just have not put them on yet and im going to switch back to my super whites

Also you can't tint the lense on headlights
