Windshield Tint

I plan on getting my truck tinted here soon and was curious to know who has full windshield tint around here.

Was wondering how bad people get stopped by cops for having it and\or noticed. As well as how much a ticket is for having something like windshield tint.

Not sure about how the cops are there but they have really cracked down around here. I've had tinted windshields for about the last 15 years and only had problems with the law in the last year or so. My silver Civic coupe had 35% on the sides and back and 50% on the windshield. Had zero issues when I had it but a friend was pulled over within days of buying it from me. My Camaro has had the windows tinted 20% sides and back and 35% on the windshield since about 1998. Been pulled over once with it but they let me go. I have a feeling this summer will be much less forgiving....

Highway patrol and local police have grown keen to tinted windshields and will pull you over for ONLY that. Any tint below the marks on your windshield is illegal so you will either get a ticket (non-moving violation) or warning and may have to pull it off on the spot if you don't want to be towed.

we do it up at my shop. i think its $150 for the front windshield.

Tint fines very. I've had them as cheap as $30.50 up to $90; just depends who gets you.

bah its a hard decision, especially since its on a all blacked out truck... tails,cab lights,corner lights,grill,fender flares,everything.

My TL-S is 15% sides and rear, and 35% windshield. I get hassled for it everywhere.

Good thing I dont DD it
