build it first or keep it Conservative from what i understand the d16's stock are only good to like 200 hp before a rod gives
turbo lag psh? boost is only a down shift away

BOOST! NA cars are awesome if you have the money to drop in them...i dont so force fed is my anti drug. first thing would be a good head swap. then either buy a REAL turbo kit or piece yours together. as long as you spend money where it is best invested youll be fine(ie- turbo, injectors...ect). dont be afraid of a journal bearing turbo. they are half the price of ther BB big brothers and spool just fine for a street car(precision is an awesome company). and dont go cheap on your intercooler. you may save some cash with one of those $100 pipe kits from ebay that come with one but its gonna crack and not ever going to be designed as efficient as name brand one. and NEVER BUY EBAY RAM HORN manifolds......disaster waiting to happen.
and above anything else if you want your turbo setup to last...TUNE IT. don't be that guy!

i had a couple of boosted d-series, last one being a 180,xxx ex coupe wit ebay kit. bone stock down to stock injectors and ecu. 50 trim t3/t4 ebay kit. 8lb. boost. i drove it to nasville and traded it with 223,xxx miles on it. 328 miles, and still had a 1/4 tank left. raced three r/t challengers and pulled 2-3 cars. engine's health, condition and tune is all that matters, for a dirt chip build. my first was a 95 teggy ls with JG DYNAMIC d15b7 long block, 60-1, 19lbs, 331whp
I'm gon hurt some feelin's this summer

ilovemyd16 make sure when you start buying parts and putting the car together, you have someone around that knows what going on, no offense but i think i remember you thinking your tranny was shot and it was a bad spark plug wire.
just dont go out and buy any turbo kit and not tune, boosting a car can become a wase of money really quick if you have no clue what your doing
