Possiblity of new Road Course?

Oh God I would hope so, but no updates since November? Seems kinda strange, I figured they would be on top of it.

I did some digging and it looks like the deal on the land fell through so the project is on hold until a new sight can be found. It is nice to know the possibility is even being considered with the current economy; Just needs backing with deeper pockets and more support from local groups (us) so investors realize that there is money to be made.

It was planned to be modeled similar to Autobahn County Club in Joliet IL which is a great facility.

I bet NASA midwest would love to get another track on the schedule. I dream of the day where I can see a honda-challenge or AI/AIX race without having to drive 5+ hours.

I will try my best to stay on top of this issue and keep everyone posted with any updates.

That would be pretty dope to see some grand am cup races close to home. maybe even small open wheels series coming and stuff. the fact that we could use the track and watch professional drivers from regional or national series would be great.
