2011 honda crz type r turbo!!!!!!!!!!

Post by Edison Carasio »

I wish someone would find a wrecked, rear ended RDX turbo in a junk yard and yank the turbo'd K24 and see what other new cars it would fit in in a stock form. Just to see how easy it would be for Honda to do the same.

Actually the turbo motor is a K23 (think it's destroked a bit), and the block is a different casting than the k24s so It will only mate to the SH-AWD auto trans.

The manifold and Variable Geometry turbo would bolt to other K heads with a built bottom end, but supposedly the RDX bottom end is very stout in stock form.

There is a big thread on K20a.org about this motor.

I personally would have loved to see the complete RDX drivetrain with SH-AWD in the new TSX even if it was only available with an auto.

anyway, back to the CRZ

The S2K lasted a decade. Take that for what it's worth.
