2 porters/detailers needed - Lou Fusz Mazda/Subaru

Post by Mazkid »

We're hiring again. This is for 2 part-time positions however you'll get 30-40 hours a week.

The job entails detailing sold cars, detailing some trade-ins/auctions cars, checking in pre-owned cars, maintaining the pre-owned inventory/parking lot, and other assorted tasks. You'll also run errands/pick up cars/etc etc.

I'd like to find 2 people that have atleast some experience detailing, are "car people", and are willing to take the job atleast seriously enough to get what needs to be done, done, to help the dealership function and be productive.

Must have a clean, valid, driver's license and decently clean driving record.

Starting pay is $8 an hour... experienced folk will make more.

Feel free to PM me, call me (314-922-4922), or reply here with questions.

Thanks!
-Ryan

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall, torque is how far you take the wall with you.
Hope this helps

Yes I own 2 slow red chick cars & 1 real car!

We send most of our trade-in cars to our Kia store where VIP(Vehicle Improvement Products, a Lou Fusz company) fully details them and does things that we simply can't do due to time constraints and equipment.

We are however starting to detail more cars on our own as they too get back-logged with work. Sometimes my dealership gets slow enough where we will detail cars we'd normally send down there to keep busy and pass time. Also we have a "photo booth" setup in our shop now to get the cars on the internet in a more timely manner than VIP does sometimes.

Now then, I buff cars from time to time. I don't wetsand cars, even though I know how to, I just don't like to do it. The only time I'll wetsand is a spot job trying to get a scratch out or something off the paint, and I turn it into one of those "look what I can do" moments. lol

Feel free to come in and apply if you want... We'd be happy to hire someone with those skills but you have to remember, the more you know how to do, the more you'll be asked to do. If you want to take that on, go for it! :)
