Will the stock ls/vtec header fit the stock dohc?

There is no such thing as a stock LS/VTEC header.

Are you sure cause i just talked to this guy that my friend goes through and he told me to find a vtec and take the header off that.. like the one thats put on there originally?

he probably means a stock gsr or type r header. but if your going to buy one might as well buy aftermarket unless your wanting it to be a stock header. type r would be your best bet for stock header as far as performance is concerned though

well would that fit? and i was going to just get an aftermarket one but im trying to keep it cheap

What are you putting this on? LS and GSR headers are different lengths.

Ok what trim level is it? Is it a gsr, ls, rs? Does the valve cover say vtec?

the ls header isnt long enough to clear the gsr oil pan (tried it on my car and it wouldnt fit but it might clear the non-vtec bottom end...?!
