RA-TARD hack job

Post by sir_dees1 »

The first honda I bought was half assed in alot of aspects. I have spent countless hours in the garage... but because of it I learned alot about the car, and also learned how to be patient when going into fix something and ending up fixing two or three things...

Hondas can be a nightmare at times, wiring ftl..., but the knowledge you get from these situations and the people you encouter along your way are worth it in the long run.

I agree tho... previous owners can be ra-tards!

I hear yea. I would still consider getting a car modified by someone else (I've seen the good experiences along with the bad) but I am MUCH more aware of what to look for after seeing just a few of the problems that have come up with various friends cars over the years.

I've been doing this shit longer than most, and I have to say that this is not a new problem and it is also does not solely occur in out scene.

Same here, my first hatch which was someone else's clap out piece of shit project that I was ignorant enough to pay way to much money for, was a huge learning experience for me, but also introduced me to some of my best friends.

That's why I put a smiley behind it to help convey sarcasm. Cause it was indeed intended to be saracastic. :)

Have you ever bought a car even looking through it think it was a decent car. Then once you REALLY look at the car and found out some shit the guy never told you about. doesn't that piss you off?

There is no work quality to a half assed hack job. its a straight PIECE OF SHIT!

I'm talking about swapped cars, modified cars, even a stock for stock repair.

I totally feel the same way as of right now. My mom called yesterday me to tell me she was going to be in town and needed me to replace a battery in her intrepid. Took one look at it and knew it was going to be a pain in the ass. The only wire that wasn't cut/spliced/ducttaped was the 6" wire leading the fuse box. It's like someone decided it would be fun to rig the car to spontaneously catch fire. Not to mention there were various power wires going to random places, no clue what-so-ever as to what they're powering... If you can't fix something right, take it to a mechanic, plain and simple.
