The U.G.L.Y Bar Challenge is an annual campaign that challenges bars across 90 Counties in Missouri and Illinois to compete against each other to raise the most money for the National MS Society. Each establishment hosts their own events and promotions—the more creative the better! In addition to prizes, there are traveling trophies for 1st through 5th place.
New this year is the U.G.L.Y. weekend! We are encouraging all bars to participate and host an event the benefit the National MS Society on July 16th and 17th. This is a simple way to participate in the campaign and their are 3 easy eays to participate: Donate 5% (or more) of revenue from the weekend, Offer Specials, or keep a Donation Jar on the bar. If you get a lot of neighboring bars to participate you could even make it a pub crawl. You'll get everything you need including promotional items and lots of advertising.
