This. I quit like 2 or 3 years ago and I do occasionally miss the people I played with, but never the game itself.

Yeah, but there are always people looking for an easy way into the game. If you price it right, someone will pay.

Personally have thought about selling mine because it would be good money but... I just can't get myself to. I guess it's both that I don't want to get it locked and it feels wrong for some reason... but mostly I just don't want to log on and do all that work haha!

I sold my old account for $250 only way to get out of it for good really. Unless your that addicted to it that you make a new account and start all over. You can always get back deleted characters so that doesnt work. haha

yea mine was hacked for about 3 weeks, got it back with a bunch of ore and random AH sales. but basically still missing TONS of gear. But i definitely agree with the above guy... only way to truely get out is to sell it. and F blizz TOS. just ogtta be careful. And also i defintely agree taht its the ppl in the game not tehgame itself, ive disliked where bilzz is headed since the end of BC let alone wrath. and Cat makes me want to puke. Toss a anonyomous "im selling my account only local ppl please. ive tried to sell before, and got tons of scammers for sure. but yea My B on teh lounge sale thing. but basically instead of gettin ppl to play with, its kinda gone the other way lol

this game is horrible. its only good to thoughs who have never played any other MMOs. this game is made to be "kiddish" to appeal to new players. Thats why its so damn easy to get gear and such. And thoughs of you who have been hacked. well I just laugh at you for downloading something you shouldn't have. Its called a backdoor trojan. aka RAT. They have more than just your WoW account password. Infact if you havent reformatted, they probably still have access to your PC.

this thread should be locked. Because this game is the most rediculous game. Go play a real MMO. One that doesn't appeal to 7 year olds. This game isnt addictive at all. beleive me, there are games out there with much more Addictive traits. and games where items are worth thousands of real dollars.

Like phate. picking up a real game, the new FF should be one worth your time.

I played the original EQ back in the day. I must say WoW doesn't compare. Too bad EQ died years ago. Severs are still up but the players just aren't there.

and i'd love to sell it, but its harder than it seems. Blizz pretty good about being all up in ur biz if u mention ur char name or a link to its armory anywhere. and ive been burned once on it already. If you know how or which site ur friend sold it at please toss me a PM . thx

Aeon, Guild Wars, Lineage, Age of Conan, Star Wars has a mmo, Defender of the Ancients, Runescape, theres so many MMO's its rediculous.

Yeah there's thousands. There's even an MMO based off of google maps that I sometimes play on my droid when im bored hah.

i quit about 3 months ago and haven't looked back. but when d3 comes out i'll play that. probably will start up wow again once cat comes out, til then the account is in hibernation.
