I thought this was kind of interesting. Take a 1998 ITR that's been in storage for 12 years, with only 5,400 on the odometer and test it against a 2010 Civic Si coupe.

That is pretty awesome thank you for sharing. What I wouldn't give to have that ITR...

I can't stand most of Honda's new car lineup. The S2K is the only new Honda I would want. And I definitely don't think the new Civic is worthy of the name.

theres a lot to be said for an old mechanical linkage for the throttle setup. Just feels so much better than the new electronic setups which feel dead in comparison!

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall, torque is how far you take the wall with you.
Hope this helps

Yes I own 2 slow red chick cars & 1 real car!

I agree, even though there aren't any new S2000's anymore.

Word. Just yesterday I watched the episode of top gear where they compared the brand new CTR to the EP3 CTR, the EP3 whooped up on the new one. I guess Honda just doesn't make em like they used to.

This had me rolling, I love Civics as much as the next guy, but seriously wtf does this mean? Is there anything a Civic needs to have to be considered "worthy" of the name? Beyond inexpensive and reliable, I don't think so.

EP3 Type R = designed and built in Swindon, then redid in Japan LOL
FN2 Type R = designed and built in Swindon. Its the Brits' own fault for making a "hot hatch" that doesn't compare to the old body style. That episode compared the previous best to the current 3rd place. FTL
